Community Feedback

How we engaged

We consulted with the Rose Bay community to understand local views and what needs to be considered in our plans for an architecturally designed development at the former Caltex Service Station site and 30 Albemarle Avenue, Rose Bay.

We engaged with Rose Bay locals, near neighbours, Rose Bay Public School, and community groups through:

Meetings with near neighbours, community groups, and Rose Bay Public School representatives.

Thank you to the more than 200 Rose Bay community members who provided their feedback - the feedback we received from the local community has been considered in our plans for the site.

Woolworths is committed to ongoing, two-way communication with the local community throughout the planning process and beyond. We will continue to inform the community on project progress.

What did we seek feedback on?

We sought community feedback on the project vision for:

A retail and residential project designed for Rose Bay village, with convenience, quality, and sustainability in mind and on four guiding principles to be considered in our plans.

We heard a range of local views and interests, and have summarised these, and how our plans have considered this feedback in the summary table below.
