The Rose Bay Direct to boot service is now open to the public. We have received great feedback from the community and customers that the Direct to Boot is providing a convenient way to pick up their groceries. In the long term plans for the site, we have included Direct to Boot pick up bays in the design.

Woolworths sought to refresh and activate the former service station site in the short-term to deliver a Drive Thru Direct to Boot pick up point for locals, while longer-term plans for the site are considered by Council, the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and the relevant government agencies. We sought to deliver this community offering with minimal impacts to surrounding homes and businesses.

We anticipate the temporary Drive Thru Direct to Boot pick up point would be in place for two to three years until construction starts on the proposed Woolworths and apartments and will continue to refine the current and future offer in response to community and customer feedback.

 

With the positive feedback recieved, we look forward to providing additional services and delivering a fresh and convenient supermarket offering for the Rose Bay community.
