Planning Process
The rezoning or Planning Proposal amends and refines the key controls for the site based on many considerations and consultation with planning authorities, government agencies and the community. With a DA providing approval for the proposal in line with the controls, again in consultation with planning authorities, government agencies and the community.
Community consultation will feature throughout the projects stages. Woolworths will continue to seek feedback and keep the community informed at each stage of the planning process.
What is the purpose of the Proposal?
The purpose of the Proposal is to seek approval to deliver our vision for Rose Bay being a project that respond to the needs of Rose Bay community with convenience, quality and community in mind.
The retail and residential project will be integrated and design led, ensuring a high quality architectural design that responds considerately to its urban setting and gives back to the community with usable open space, new housing and a retail experience that responds to the local community's needs. The project will be highly respectful of the existing residents and ensure the design response draws on their requirements.
